Morning Star

INSPIRATION: This collection takes its name from one of Our Lady’s oldest and most beloved titles: Morning Star (Stella Matutina). Just as the morning star appears before the rising sun, Mary came before Christ, heralding the Light of the World. She is the gentle sign of hope before the dawn, pointing every heart toward her Son.

The pomegranate has long been a Marian symbol of abundance, resurrection, and unity. Hidden beneath its exterior are countless seeds gathered into one fruit—a beautiful reminder of the faithful drawn together under Mary’s maternal care. In Christian art, the opened pomegranate also foreshadows Christ’s Passion while proclaiming the promise of new life.
