DESCRIPTION: Mary is called Mystical Rose because she is queen of all flowers and the rose has long been considered highest in the hierarchy of beautiful flowers. She is called mystical because neither her body nor her tomb could be found on earth when she died; she was secretly assumed body and soul into heaven.
The flower depicted in this pattern is much like the Marian title. It doesn't immediately resemble a rose; it's form is more subtle than the classic rose depicted in other images but nonetheless stands out in its beauty.
These napkins come in a set of 4, 20” square. They are hand block printed on percale cotton, which is a very soft but durable wrinkle-resistant fabric.
